The National Courier Association (NCA) was formed in 1988 as a trading Association to achieve a number of aims. High on this list was the desire to maintain a nationwide membership of such quality that each individual, no matter how small, could offer customers a reliable nationwide collection and delivery service.
The NCA consists of independent courier companies, and for administrative purposes the country is split into seven regions: Scottish, Northern, Midlands, Eastern, South Western, South Eastern and Greater London.
This year, we are holding our annual Trade Fair/AGM in conjunction with that of the DA (Despatch Association), the other major body representing the UK’s Courier industry. Together, we are arranging an excellent Trade Fair for the Courier industry, sponsored by Professional IT. Exhibitors range from major IT/software companies, to clothing suppliers, insurance companies, stationers, vehicle tracking system suppliers, etc. In fact, any supplier who may be of assistance to the Courier industry. Both the NCA and the DA will be represented, with a view to recruiting new members.
I would therefore like to take this opportunity to invite you to our Trade Fair. This is to be held on Saturday 20th March 2004.
Our venue is the Sheffield Marriott Hotel, which as you may have guessed, is in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Set in its own parkland, it’s just a short drive from Sheffield city centre and the M1 motorway.
We have a fully self-contained complex (Kenwood Hall) reserved exclusively for our event. Located in a separate building in the hotel grounds, Kenwood Hall offers a spacious and well-appointed venue. The Trade Fair will be held in the main hall from 10:30 until 17:00, where there will be a whole host of exhibitors, all connected in some way to the courier/transport industry.
Please contact Lyn Cox (NCA Administrator) by or telephone on 01908 317892 if you would like any further information or a booking form.
